After periods of exploration, my craft found its direction 20 years ago and solidified in 2010 when a friend urged me to print and publicly display my work. Printing transformed how I viewed my art—it completed the circle.

I am not just a photographer. I am an artist who uses the camera like others use brushes or pastels.

Behind the prints and inside the process

becoming a fine art photographer

My journey began when my grandmother placed a camera in my hands at the age of seven or eight.

the simple truths behind my art.

03

I trust feeling > precision.

Emotion leads the way rather than technicality.

02

I believe photos deserve to be held.

The act of printing breathes life into an image.

01

I let the place set the pace.

The best photos happen when I move slowly.

We’re wired to move fast, to scan and scroll. But most of what we register is only a fraction of what’s there.

I’m more interested in the in-between—what’s felt but not always seen. My work isn’t about documenting reality as it appears, but offering another way of seeing. A slower way. One that allows space for ambiguity and curiosity.

You don’t need to understand each image. You just need to spend enough time with it to let it say something back.

Photography is the lens, but the journey is bigger.
